The Alayo Zone under Mawuko Area CDC Odeda Local Government Area of Ogun State on Saturday, 25th day of March, 2023 commissioned Engr. Chief Adekunle Adeoye Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Centre for Skills Acquisition and Development at Abule Ayo, Ibale Okan CDA, Mawuko, Odeda LGA, Abeokuta, Ogun State.
The centre is equipped with desktop computer, laptops and printer. The facility also has a computer instructor, internet facility and maintenance contract.
The Chairman of Alayo Zone, Chief Akin Agbaje hinted that the facility would assist young people in the community to acquire requisite knowledge and skills required. He added that the center will also serve as learning center to enable our youths to engage in research and development. He then solicited for support/donations of projectors, printer, photocopier and as well as a 30KVA generating set, with a 20KVA backup solar inverter to ensure stable and constant power supply.
The immediate past Chairman, Mawuko Area CDC, Engr. Chief Adekunle Adeoye lauded the Alayo Zone’s commitment to reach out to Mawuko Communities and in the State, noting that the facility will not only serve the community but will also help youths in the community to acquire computer literacy.
At the occasion, presentation of portrait frame to Chief Adeoye Adekunle and Pa Elder J. A Ayanbiyi toward the leadership roles played last seven years and their present contribution in Opeji area CDC (then) and (present) MAWUKO AREA CDC.
