On Wednesday July 31st 2024, COMWIS Schools marked its 5th Anniversary in style with a combined End of the Session Party, Prize Giving Day, and Graduation Ceremony held at the school’s premises at 46, Olorunsogo Community, Mawuko, Abeokuta, Ogun State.
The event, which drew a large crowd of parents, dignitaries, and well-wishers, began with a heartfelt welcome speech by the school’s proprietor, Hon. Oluwaseun Fadairo. He expressed immense gratitude to God for the milestone and the opportunity to celebrate this significant occasion. “Today is a multi-celebration and a remarkable day. I am filled with boundless joy and profound gratitude to God as we gather to celebrate our 5th Anniversary, End of the Session, Prize Giving, and Graduation,” he said, acknowledging the support of parents, staff, and well-wishers.
Hon. Fadairo gave special recognition to Chief Selimot Adeusi, known as the “Mother of all Cooperators in Irepodun Egbasowapo,” for her pivotal role in the school’s success. He also thanked his family, spiritual leaders, and his supportive wife, emphasizing their invaluable contributions to the school’s growth.

The proprietor concluded his speech by congratulating the graduating students, urging them to remember the lessons learned at COMWIS Schools as they embark on their next academic journeys.

Following his remarks, Hon. Fadairo took the opportunity to honor his staff for their dedication, with notable awards such as “Most Well Dressed Staff of the Year” and “Most Outstanding Staff of the Year.” The latter was awarded to Mrs. Boluwatife Badejo, who also serves as the Head of School.
In her address, Mrs. Badejo Boluwatife reflected on the successes and challenges of the academic year, highlighting the tireless efforts of the staff and the importance of timely school fee payments by parents. She reiterated the school’s commitment to providing a conducive learning environment and introduced new initiatives, including phonetics and diction teaching, practical IT training, and skills acquisition programs. “As we celebrate today, we acknowledge the challenges we’ve faced and overcome. We pledge to continue providing a platform for our learners to grow, learn, and succeed,” she said.
A highlight of the ceremony was the scholarship awarded to five pupils, a testament to the school’s dedication to nurturing bright minds.

The event also featured a special presentation by the Asiwaju Dapo Wahab Foundation, where Alhaji Asiwaju Dapo Wahab, represented by his team, delivered a strong message against drug abuse, urging parents to be vigilant and supportive of their children’s well-being.

The day was filled with vibrant activities, including drama, choreography, a fashion parade, cultural dances, and an award ceremony, leaving attendees with lasting memories of COMWIS Schools’ milestone celebration.
