Community Leaders has been called to serve and work hard for the growth and development of their Community.

This was disclosed by the representative from the Ministry of Community Development and Co-operatives, Community Department, Mrs. Shoaga today, Saturday, 14th May, 2022 at the Ratification ceremony and election of new officers at Mawuko Area CDC which took place at Ayo Adeyemi junction, off Mawuko/Opeji road, Mawuko, Abeokuta, Ogun State.

Mrs. Shoaga said “every elected Committee Member must be accountable and transparent in their dealings and have a good Vission for the growth and development of the Community”.

Also at the occasion, the representative from Odeda Local Government Area, Mrs. Abosede Abolaji said “members must take responsibilities of their Communities allow peace and zero tolerance”. She further stated that “Chairman must devote some duties and responsibilities to the Vice Chairman and other members of the Community must support the Excos, always holds meetings and attend meetings”.

Meanwhile, The Chairman CDC Mawuko, Alhaji Adeoye Adekunle in his own address welcomed all dignitaries and members of the Community to the event. He made mentioned, the people who are not fit to be a Community Leaders which is Idiots. He said “idiot means the person that pay non-challenge attitude to something. The major priority of every Chairman is to pay attention to what’s happening in the community.

Alhaji Adeoye further stated that “a Community Leader must be ready to do anything to bring peace, growth and development to the Community”.

Lastly, He said “Community Leader should not be an religious fanatic and a Community Leader must not be stingy.

Thereafter, the CDC Mawuko Area Chairman, Alhaji Adeoye called the following CDAs for ratification and Presentation of Certificate:
1. Ifedarapo Atokun CDA
2. Ayegbami Estate CDA
3. Alubarika CDA
4. Unity Estate Isokan CDA
5. Ifesowapo CDA
6. Ibale Okan Estate CDA

On Presentation of Certificate of Returns, Mr. Abiodun Paul Okusolubo was elected and presented a certificate of returns as the Chairman Ibale Okan Estate Ayo Adeyemi Community Development Association, other Executives were:
